Solar Energy Corporation of India - Joint venture between GS E&C and ReNew Power
The SECI IV ReNew Power project is a landmark solar energy initiative developed through a joint venture between India's ReNew Power and GS E&C. This 300MW solar plant was awarded as part of the Solar Energy Corporation of India's Tranche-IV auctions in 2019. ReNew Power holds a 51% majority stake, and GS E&C a 49%, proudly marking our first foray into India's renewable energy market. The project aligns with India's national solar mission, aiming to accelerate the country's transition to cleaner energy. Leveraging our global construction experience and ReNew Power's local leadership, the venture is setting new benchmarks in India's renewable sector, supporting India's goals of increasing solar energy capacity, reducing carbon emissions, and contributing to local energy security.
