GS E&C played a key role in three critical packages - C925 (Bugis Station), C913 (Hillview and Cashew Stations), and C937 (Fort Canning Station). These were integral to overall completion to Singapore DTL, especially in construction of tunnels passing under the Singapore River.
The DTL improves travel time by connecting key districts and cutting down commute times. The fully automated system supports Singapore's growing population and economy. Each package involved varying lengths of tunnels built using varying methods, including Tunnel Boring Machine and cut and cover. Projects included construction of stations, cross passages and supporting works.
