The P10 345Kv GIS Substation Project supports one of the largest display production facilities globally. Designed as a rare indoor substation, the project integrates 345kV GIS and 154kV GIS systems in a compact, maintenance-friendly layout. Its advanced features include a comprehensive SCADA system, partial discharge and gas density monitoring, and 24/7 transmission line monitoring.
Despite an industry standard of 10 years for such high-voltage projects, GS E&C completed the substation in an accelerated 3-year timeframe, thanks to close collaboration with KEPCO and local authorities. Innovative solutions, like the selection of compact DURESCA products, allowed for efficient use of spaceand reduced building height. With an impeccable safety record of 1,355,820 work hours and zero LTIFR, the project exemplifies GS E&C’s commitment to environmental compliance, safety and reliability.
