The Los Cabos Desalination Plant helped address the pressing challenge of water scarcity in an arid and rapidly growing region, providing a sustainable, reliable source of drinking water.

The plant features advanced beach well seawater intake technology, which minimises environmental impact while ensuring high-quality water production. With an initial production capacity of almost 21,000m3 / day, the facility was futureproofed for expansion, enabling it to meet the increasing water demands of the region. The inclusion of energy-efficient systems underscores our commitment to sustainable development. Key project benefits include a secure supply of potable water for residents and businesses, reduced dependency on limited freshwater resources, and enhanced regional resilience against drought.
