A key initiative is the Enerma Battery Recycling Plant in Pohang, South Korea, capable of processing 20,000 tonnes of batteries annually. Utilising advanced technology, the plant converts end-of-life batteries into 'black powder', a critical material for manufacturing new batteries. The plant is designed to minimise environmental impact while maximising resource recovery, contributing significantly to the global push for sustainable energy solutions.
